So the deer have to find other things to eat, which here at my house they found the left over pea patch. I kind of left it for them anyway and glad they found it. That will keep them close by.Almtnmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15278840639833758856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6451228573301592412.post-6819852788127152362007-08-31T05:06:00.000-05:002007-08-31T05:06:00.000-05:00Nanc was telling me that the freeze they got after...Nanc was telling me that the freeze they got after it started warming up, seems to have done in the acorns and such. So you will probably have some hungry deer hanging around. Thinning out the numbers may help the rest survive.
I love venison jerky!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

tmwThe Merry Widowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07931051881434050901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6451228573301592412.post-82337438877592907012007-08-30T10:49:00.000-05:002007-08-30T10:49:00.000-05:00Glad everything is okay with you. We had quit picking the peas from lack of rain, but we got enough to last for a good long while in the freezer. The deer must have been there this morning as the tracks were fresh after the big rain we got last night. I have never seen that many deer tracks in one place before. So there must be a nice little herd of deer laying over in the hollow next to my pea patch. Sure wish it was hunting season as I'd put a couple of those babies in the freezer with the peas. If there's anything that I don't like better than some good venison, I don't know what it is.

Got to go, there's a big thunder bumper headed this way right now and I don't want lightning running in on the computer.Almtnmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15278840639833758856noreply@blogger.com
