Mexico accused of framing border agent

If this doesn't make you want to blow a gasket, nothing will. This is totally insane that our government is allowing this to happen.

Clearly the Bush Administration is playing toady to the Mexican Government in the rash of recent prosecutions of Border Patrol Agents and Deputy Sheriffs who are doing their jobs. Question: If we are going to arrest these agents every time they use their weapons, why do we issue them weapons all?

North American Union launching August 20?

This may explain why President Bush is pushing the amnesty agenda.

If you have been scratching your head trying to figure out why President Bush has pushed so hard for amnesty, here's your "smoking gun."

An effort is underway to create a North American "framework" that will all but eliminate hard borders between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. This "framework" includes a "trusted travelers" program that allows "citizens of North America" to move freely within the three countries.

No wonder the President is pushing amnesty!

On August 20-21, President Bush will join Mexican President Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Harper for the second Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit.

The SPP is what many believe to be the beginnings of the infrastructure for the North American Union. The SPP's stated goal is to:

"...Consolidate our action into a North American
framework to confront security and economic challenges,
and promote the full potential of our people, addressing
disparities and increasing opportunities for all."

This tri-lateral agreement already has resulted in regulatory changes and open borders initiatives that clearly undermine our sovereignty. The SPP is the one touting the "trusted travelers" program to encourage migration of "citizens of North America."

Canada's Answer to Russia's Arctic Claims - A National Park?

I wonder what Russia's response would have been if another country stuck a flag up to the north of them and claimed it for themselves?

Canada's Prime Minister announced today that the government will add 5,400 square kilometres of land to the Nahanni National Park Reserve -- a world heritage site -- barring it from further development. The announcement, as well as military ones due later in the week, are meant to bolster the claim that Canada has sovereignty over the North.

Explosives Found Near Goose Creek, SC; FBI on Scene

Goose Creek, SC - Highway 1-76 near Goose Creek is shut down as police investigate. Berkeley County Selective Enforcement Team members pulled over two men of Middle Eastern descent. Goose Creek, South Carolina, is home to the Naval Weapons Station, which houses the U.S. Naval Consolidated Brig, a military prison where enemy combatants have been held.

The car was heading west, away from Goose Creek, when it was pulled over about 7 miles from the sprawling Navy facility, Lombard said.

The men 21-year-old Yousef Megahed and 24-year-old Ahmed Mohamed were pulled over Saturday evening during a routine traffic stop near Myers Road and Highway 176. Among the explosive devices found were igniters and fusers. Few details about the suspects are known at this time. They are believed to be students at a Florida college. They are of Middle Eastern descent and are not US citizens. Neither man has been charged, but charges are expected Monday.

I just renewed mine the 1st of month and the Sheriff's department gave me a list of states that will recognize mine. But not everyone knows which state will recognize their permit. Look around. Police officer tries to shoot a snake - hits a 5-year-old boy instead

A stray bullet from the gun of an Oklahoma police officer, meant for a snake in a rural area, struck and killed a 5-year-old boy Friday night, authorities confirmed.

Alabama bank hero dies in bulldozer accident

I had posted an article back in May about this hero when he thwarted a bank robbery by standing outside and holding the robber at bay with his pistol.

Concealed Handgun Permit Holder Helps Stop Robber: "Authorities say `good Samaritan' bought deputies time"

This is really sad that he's now been killed in an accident.

A man who helped thwart an armed robber's escape from a Bessemer bank in May died this morning in a bulldozer accident in western Jefferson County.

Christopher Lynn Chappell, 41, was accidentally killed at 8:15 a.m. by the bulldozer he was operating, said Jefferson County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Randy Christian.

It is believed he became entangled in the track of the bulldozer and was run over while working alone. Deputies and the Concord Fire Department responded, but Chappell was pronounced dead on the scene.

On May 14, Chappell was a customer at the Wachovia Bank on Ninth Avenue in Bessemer, when a gunman opened fire, killing bank employees Eva Hudson and Sheila McWaine Prevo. Two other bank employees, Anita Gordon and LaToya Freeman, were wounded.

Chappell, who was approaching the bank and heard the gunfire, got his gun from his vehicle and confronted the gunman as he was leaving, forcing him back inside and giving law officers time to respond.
